When: Friday, March 28th at 6:30pm Where: Stains Studio - 41 Varick Avenue, #104, Brooklyn, NY 11237 Syncopated is so excited to be partnering with Gourmand Columbia for this special evening celebrating the start of warm weather and one of my favorite cuisines! I met Abby, the President of Gourmand, at one of The Libi Project's Culinary Industry Nights back in 2023, and after a joint podcast and chatting many times about bringing our passion projects together, we finally have an event to do so. Come join us for this seasonal, Scandinavian-inspired, family-style feast at a new, exclusive studio space in Bushwick - with a speakeasy feel as you make your way through the halls before the doors open to our inviting spring oasis, you are certainly in for a scrumptious adventure that is not to be missed! There will be five intriguing, playful, and vegetable-forward courses throughout the night along with a curated list of unique mocktails and beverages to complement the food and warm weather, Nordic vibes. Having spent three years of my career at Aquavit as well as a month stint in Stockholm, I am always eager to tap back into these comforting yet nuanced flavors and dishes. Additionally, since Abby studied in Copenhagen for quite some time, incorporating our Scandinavian roots seemed like the perfect pairing for this dinner. Our menu for this evening is going to feature the best produce of the season; therefore, we cannot reveal it just yet as our final decisions depend on what will be fully ripe and ready to pick over the next two weeks; stay tuned for all the details on these surprise dishes soon!
